What is the difference between 2024 Launch i-TPMS and previous TSGUN?
Similarity:
Support all 315/433MHZ sensors activation, programming, relearning and diagnosis.
Differences:
i-TPMS:
1. It will combine with Launch X431 scanners to use, and also works standalone via i-TPMS APP.
2. It can not only support select by car brand and model, but also can select by OE part number directly, much faster.
3. It can support multiple online repair resources including Operating Skills, DTC Help,Tech Handbook, Repair Case, Tire Pressure Maintenance Database for you to diagnostic and repair.
TSGUN:
1. It must be combined with Launch X431 scanners to perform TPMS function, not working itself.
2. It can only support select by car brand and model.

How to use LAUNCH i-TPMS?
1. To be used together with the LAUNCH diagnostic equipment.
X-431 iTPMS can activate, program, diagnose, and learn tire pressure after connecting to the diagnostic equipment via BT.
2. To be used with LAUNCH’s own tire pressure app i-TPMS.
i-TPMS can be connected to i-TPMS mobile phone app via BT to activate tire pressure, program and copy ID of tire pressure.

Launch X-431 iTPMS Function:
1. Activate Sensor
This tool can activate all 315/433MHz tire pressure sensors, and collect tire pressure information, such as sensor ID, tire pressure, tire temperature, battery status, sensor location, etc.
*Notes: The sensor’s default activation sequence: left front 》right front 》right rear 》left rear
2. Unlimited Repeat Programming
3 Modes to Program LAUNCH LTR-01 SENSOR:
1. Manually create can manually enter the original ID
2. Automatic creation the system automatically generates ID
3. Copy ID copy the old sensor ID to the LAUNCH LTR-03 SENSOR if the old sensor can still be activated
Q: Can iTPMS’s programming function program original factory sensors or tire pressure sensors of other brands?
A: NO, If your sensor is the original factory, there is no need to do programming, only need to do activation, learning and diagnosis. If it is other brands, programming is not supported. Only LAUNCH LTR-01 sensors can be programmed.
3. TPMS Relearn
There are 3 ways available for Relearn: Static Learing, Self -Learning and Relearn by OBD.
Static learning
Static learning needs to put the vehicle in “learning mode”, and then follow the learning steps prompted on the screen.
Self-study
For some vehicles, the learning function can be completed by driving the vehicle self-learning.
OBD re-learning
This function allows the diagnostic equipment to directly write the sensor ID to the TPMS module.
To perform the OBD re-learning function, first use the tire pressure tool to activate all four tire sensors. Then use the diagnostic equipment and its attached diagnostic connector, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the re-learning operation.
4. TPMS Diagnose (Activate all TPMS sensors before TPMS Diagnose)
* Diagnose the TPMS system, read and clear the TPMS dtc, view the detailed description of the dtc, and check the status of all TPMS sensors.
